Anna Conrad

She has studied Politics, Economy and Society as well as English and American Studies at Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany) and National University of Ireland Galway. During her time at the Office of Cooperation RUB/IG Metall she has worked on topics such as (further) qualification of works councils, co-determination and the transformation of work and industry – mostly from a transdisciplinary angle. Now she is a research assistant and doctoral candidate examining the possible gaps between academic discourses and experiences of social actors when it comes to workplace democracy (1975-2000). This research line is rooted in subproject 4, supervised by Prof. Dr. Manfred Wannöffel.
